CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

root & meditate

Practice of presence and just being.  A 45 minute breath-awareness based meditation class designed for all levels. Join us on the cushion or chair for a brief talk at the beginning of each class to help focus our meditation sessions and then expect 20-25 minutes of meditation. There will be space for an optional 10 minutes of quiet contemplation at the end. New to meditation? Join us a few minutes early so we can review comfortable seating options and basic instructions.

root & rest

Practice of restorative guided meditation. Yoga Nidra translates to Yogic Sleep. A 60 minute practice that begins with gentle, close to the ground stretching movements helping to release and open the body before becoming still. With supportive options available, yoga nidra will be practiced lying on the back or side and is typically 20-30 minutes in length. There will be space for an optional 10 minutes of quiet contemplation at the end.

sunday chill flow

sunday chill flow is like a nice, easy Sunday evening drive. It's a yoga class that is a blend of slow flow movement, deep stretches and relaxation poses. All movement and poses are practiced with the support of different props. Interwoven with poetic and soulful melodies, space is offered for resting the mind, body and soul. 

Sunday 5:30pm - 6:30pm



Private and Corporate Sessions

Private yoga and meditation sessions are offered.


For individual students, private sessions are for anyone who wants to grow their yoga or meditation practice. Maybe your focus is practicing advanced or more accessible postures, learning additional practices such as meditation or contemplative reflection. Maybe your focus is learning how to practice with or after an injury or illness. Maybe you want to see how yoga philosophies can be applied off the mat. Maybe you just want a private space to simply be still. Whatever your desired intention might be, private sessions can be tailored to your specific needs and interests. Sessions are available in person at Rooted Blossoms’ studio or virtually.

For organizations, we have experience creating classes and one day events focused on yoga and meditation. I’ve worked with organizations such as CASE Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, Pregnant with Possibilities Resource Center, The Chocolate Girls Mentoring Program and The Gathering Place, Big or small, I’d be delighted to create an offering that is just right for your organization.
