Meditation begins with placing one’s attention on something outside of one’s thoughts. The focus of attention can be the breath, sound, sensation or touch.
Regardless of the form or object of attention, meditation is about being present with one’s self in the moment without judgement and with compassion.
Meditation practice cultivates a way of living life and being in the world.

Presence is the greatest gift you can give to yourself and others. Yet, life and all that it requires and demands of us does not always allow for being able to be present in the moments of life. Many times we are either in the past or hurrying to the future. As we transition into the fall, the season of going within, what does it mean to be present? How can we be more present with ourselves? How can we be more present with others? How can we be more present in the world? Why does this matter? We will explore this and meditate in community.
